The POLR3F Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12224) is specifically designed for research involving POLR3F, a subunit of RNA polymerase III involved in the transcription of non-coding RNAs. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds to the POLR3F protein, allowing for detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an excellent tool for studies in molecular biology and gene expression.POLR3F plays a critical role in the transcription of small non-coding RNAs, including tRNAs and 5S rRNA, essential for protein synthesis and cellular function.
Dysregulation of POLR3F has been implicated in various genetic disorders and developmental abnormalities. Understanding the function and regulation of POLR3F is crucial for unraveling its role in normal cell processes and diseases, making this antibody essential for researchers exploring RNA biology and gene expression mechanisms.

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-220 of human POLR3F (NP_006457.2).
The protein encoded by this gene is one of more than a dozen subunits forming eukaryotic RNA polymerase III (RNA Pol III), which transcribes 5S ribosomal RNA and tRNA genes. This protein has been shown to bind both TFIIIB90 and TBP, two subunits of RNA polymerase III transcription initiation factor IIIB (TFIIIB). Unlike most of the other RNA Pol III subunits, the encoded protein is unique to this polymerase. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
