The PLS1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15303) is a valuable tool for researchers studying PLS1, a protein involved in cellular processes such as cell proliferation and migration. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the PLS1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and cancer research.PLS1, also known as plastin 1, is a cytoskeletal protein that plays a crucial role in regulating the movement and shape of cells.
Its involvement in cell motility processes makes it a key target for research in areas such as cancer metastasis and cell invasion. Understanding the functions and regulation of PLS1 is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting cell migration in diseases like cancer.Overall, the PLS1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15303) provides researchers with a reliable tool to investigate the role of PLS1 in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis, offering valuable insights that can potentially lead to the development of novel therapeutic interventions.

Plastins are a family of actin-binding proteins that are conserved throughout eukaryote evolution and expressed in most tissues of higher eukaryotes. In humans, two ubiquitous plastin isoforms (L and T) have been identified. The protein encoded by this gene is a third distinct plastin isoform, which is specifically expressed at high levels in the small intestine. Alternatively spliced transcript variants varying in the 5' UTR, but encoding the same protein, have been found for this gene. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 11.
