The PLAG1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16952) is an essential tool for researchers studying PLAG1, a transcription factor involved in cell growth and tumorigenesis. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity for PLAG1 and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting.PLAG1 is known to play a significant role in promoting cell proliferation and survival, making it a key player in cancer development and progression. By targeting PLAG1, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.
Moreover, the PLAG1 Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a wide range of cell types, offering researchers flexibility in their experimental designs. Its ability to detect and quantify PLAG1 levels enables precise analysis of gene expression patterns and protein interactions, making it an invaluable tool for studies in oncology and molecular biology.

Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 33-288 of human PLAG1 (NP_002646.2).
Pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 encodes a zinc finger protein with 2 putative nuclear localization signals. PLAG1, which is developmentally regulated, has been shown to be consistently rearranged in pleomorphic adenomas of the salivary glands. PLAG1 is activated by the reciprocal chromosomal translocations involving 8q12 in a subset of salivary gland pleomorphic adenomas. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
