The PIK3CG Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6688) is specifically designed for research involving the PIK3CG protein, an enzyme that plays a crucial role in cell signaling pathways related to immune response and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.PIK3CG, also known as phosphoinositide-3-kinase gamma, is a key player in signaling cascades that regulate various cellular functions, including cell growth, survival, and migration. Dysregulation of PIK3CG has been linked to various diseases, making it a promising target for research in areas such as immunology, cancer, and inflammatory conditions.
By binding to the PIK3CG protein, this antibody facilitates the detection and analysis of PIK3CG activity in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in disease processes. Researchers can use this antibody to further understand the mechanisms underlying immune responses and inflammation, ultimately paving the way for the development of targeted therapies for related conditions.
Product Name:
PIK3CG Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6688
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 130-342 of human PIK3CG (NP_002640.2).
Phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3Ks) phosphorylate inositol lipids and are involved in the immune response. The protein encoded by this gene is a class I catalytic subunit of PI3K. Like other class I catalytic subunits (p110-alpha p110-beta, and p110-delta), the encoded protein binds a p85 regulatory subunit to form PI3K. This gene is located in a commonly deleted segment of chromosome 7 previously identified in myeloid leukemias. Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
