The Phospho-STK3 (T117) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0934) is a powerful tool for studying the phosphorylated form of the STK3 protein, a key regulator of cell growth and proliferation. This antibody is raised in rabbits and specifically targets the phosphorylation site threonine 117 of STK3. It is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications.STK3, also known as MST2, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in the Hippo signaling pathway, which controls organ size and tissue homeostasis. Phosphorylation of STK3 at threonine 117 has been linked to its activation and regulation of downstream signaling cascades.
Research into the phosphorylation status of STK3 is essential for understanding its role in cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, and tumorigenesis. The Phospho-STK3 (T117) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigators studying signal transduction pathways, cell signaling dynamics, and cancer biology. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for immunology and cancer research studies aimed at deciphering the molecular mechanisms underlying normal and pathological cellular processes regulated by STK3 phosphorylation.

This gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase activated by proapoptotic molecules indicating the encoded protein functions as a growth suppressor. Cleavage of the protein product by caspase removes the inhibitory C-terminal portion. The N-terminal portion is transported to the nucleus where it homodimerizes to form the active kinase which promotes the condensation of chromatin during apoptosis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
