The Phospho-RelA (S468) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0446) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the NF-kB signaling pathway. This antibody, generated in rabbits, specifically targets phosphorylated RelA at serine 468 in human samples, allowing for precise detection and analysis in Western blot experiments.RelA, also known as p65, is a key component of the NF-kB transcription factor complex involved in regulating immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Phosphorylation of RelA at serine 468 plays a crucial role in modulating its activity and function in various cellular processes. Understanding the phosphorylation status of RelA is essential for unraveling the complex mechanisms of NF-kB signaling in health and disease.
The Phospho-RelA (S468) Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for researchers exploring the role of NF-kB signaling in cancer, inflammatory diseases, and immune disorders. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an invaluable asset for investigations aiming to uncover the intricate regulatory networks mediated by the NF-kB pathway. With this antibody, researchers can gain deeper insights into the molecular mechanisms driving pathological conditions and develop targeted therapies for various diseases.
NF-kappa-B is a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in several biological processes. It is held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state by specific inhibitors. Upon degradation of the inhibitor, NF-kappa-B moves to the nucleus and activates transcription of specific genes. NF-kappa-B is composed of NFKB1 or NFKB2 bound to either REL, RELA, or RELB. The most abundant form of NF-kappa-B is NFKB1 complexed with the product of this gene, RELA. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
