The Phospho-Raptor (Ser792) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0928) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the mTOR signaling pathway. This antibody, raised in rabbits, specifically targets the phosphorylated form of Raptor at Ser792, a key phosphorylation site involved in the regulation of mTORC1 activity. The mTOR pathway plays a crucial role in cell growth, proliferation, and metabolism, and dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. The Phospho-Raptor (Ser792) Polyclonal Antibody allows for the detection and analysis of phosphorylated Raptor in various cell types, providing crucial insights into the activation of mTORC1 signaling.
This antibody is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications, offering reliable and accurate results for research in cell biology, cancer biology, and drug discovery. By studying the phosphorylation of Raptor at Ser792, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of mTOR signaling and its implications in disease development, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting this pathway.

This gene encodes a component of a signaling pathway that regulates cell growth in response to nutrient and insulin levels. The encoded protein forms a stoichiometric complex with the mTOR kinase, and also associates with eukaryotic initiation factor 4E-binding protein-1 and ribosomal protein S6 kinase. The protein positively regulates the downstream effector ribosomal protein S6 kinase, and negatively regulates the mTOR kinase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
