The Phospho-NFkB2 (S866) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0418) is a powerful tool for studying the NFkB2 signaling pathway. This antibody, generated in rabbits, has high specificity for detecting phosphorylation at serine 866 of the NFkB2 protein, a key regulator of immune and inflammatory responses.Phosphorylation of NFkB2 at serine 866 is essential for the activation of NFkB2 and subsequent transcription of target genes involved in immune response and inflammation. This antibody is validated for use in Western blot applications and is highly reactive with human samples, making it a reliable tool for research in immunology, cancer biology, and inflammatory diseases.
By specifically targeting the phosphorylated form of NFkB2, researchers can gain valuable insights into the intricate signaling pathways that drive immune and inflammatory responses. This antibody is essential for understanding the role of NFkB2 phosphorylation in various cellular processes and may lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diseases characterized by dysregulated NFkB2 signaling.

This gene encodes a subunit of the transcription factor complex nuclear factor-kappa-B (NFkB). The NFkB complex is expressed in numerous cell types and functions as a central activator of genes involved in inflammation and immune function. The protein encoded by this gene can function as both a transcriptional activator or repressor depending on its dimerization partner. The p100 full-length protein is co-translationally processed into a p52 active form. Chromosomal rearrangements and translocations of this locus have been observed in B cell lymphomas, some of which may result in the formation of fusion proteins. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 18. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
