The Phospho-NFkB1 (S932) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0417) is designed for research involving NFkB1, a key transcription factor involved in immune and inflammatory responses. The antibody, raised in rabbits, specifically targets the phosphorylated form of NFkB1 at serine 932, which is important for its activation and function in signaling pathways.NFkB1 is known to play a crucial role in regulating the expression of genes involved in immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Phosphorylation at serine 932 has been linked to the activation of NFkB1 and its translocation to the nucleus, where it regulates the expression of target genes. This antibody is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling the detection and analysis of phosphorylated NFkB1 in various cell types and tissues.
Its specificity for the phosphorylated form of NFkB1 makes it a valuable tool for studying the role of NFkB1 activation in immune responses, inflammatory processes, and diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.Understanding the phosphorylation status of NFkB1 at serine 932 is essential for unraveling the complex mechanisms involved in immune regulation and inflammation, and may lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting NFkB1 signaling pathways.

This gene encodes a 105 kD protein which can undergo cotranslational processing by the 26S proteasome to produce a 50 kD protein. The 105 kD protein is a Rel protein-specific transcription inhibitor and the 50 kD protein is a DNA binding subunit of the NF-kappa-B (NFKB) protein complex. NFKB is a transcription regulator that is activated by various intra- and extra-cellular stimuli such as cytokines, oxidant-free radicals, ultraviolet irradiation, and bacterial or viral products. Activated NFKB translocates into the nucleus and stimulates the expression of genes involved in a wide variety of biological functions. Inappropriate activation of NFKB has been associated with a number of inflammatory diseases while persistent inhibition of NFKB leads to inappropriate immune cell development or delayed cell growth. NFKB is a critical regulator of the immediate-early response to viral infection. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, at least one of which is proteolytically processed.
