The Phospho-NFkB1 (S893) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0415) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the NFkB1 pathway, a critical regulator of inflammation and immune response. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds specifically to the phosphorylated form of NFkB1 at serine 893, allowing for precise detection and analysis in various cell types.NFkB1 is a key transcription factor involved in the regulation of immune and inflammatory responses. Phosphorylation of NFkB1 at serine 893 has been linked to its activation and involvement in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
Understanding the phosphorylation status of NFkB1 is essential for unraveling its roles in these pathological processes, providing potential targets for therapeutic interventions. This antibody is a valuable tool for researchers aiming to dissect the signaling pathways involving NFkB1 and its phosphorylation at serine 893. Its high specificity and reactivity in human samples make it an ideal choice for studies in immunology, cancer research, and other diseases where NFkB1 plays a significant role. Unlock the potential of NFkB1 research with the Phospho-NFkB1 (S893) Polyclonal Antibody.

This gene encodes a 105 kD protein which can undergo cotranslational processing by the 26S proteasome to produce a 50 kD protein. The 105 kD protein is a Rel protein-specific transcription inhibitor and the 50 kD protein is a DNA binding subunit of the NF-kappa-B (NFKB) protein complex. NFKB is a transcription regulator that is activated by various intra- and extra-cellular stimuli such as cytokines, oxidant-free radicals, ultraviolet irradiation, and bacterial or viral products. Activated NFKB translocates into the nucleus and stimulates the expression of genes involved in a wide variety of biological functions. Inappropriate activation of NFKB has been associated with a number of inflammatory diseases while persistent inhibition of NFKB leads to inappropriate immune cell development or delayed cell growth. NFKB is a critical regulator of the immediate-early response to viral infection. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, at least one of which is proteolytically processed.
