The Phospho-NF-κB p105 (S932) Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying NF-κB signaling pathways, a critical regulator of immune and inflammatory responses. This antibody, produced through a rigorous process, specifically targets the phosphorylated form of NF-κB p105 at serine 932. It has been extensively validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.NF-κB is a key transcription factor that controls the expression of genes involved in immune responses, cell survival, and inflammation. Phosphorylation of NF-κB p105 at serine 932 is known to be essential for its activation and translocation to the nucleus, where it regulates the transcription of target genes.
By targeting this specific phosphorylation site, researchers can gain insights into the activation and function of NF-κB in different cellular contexts. This antibody is highly specific to the phosphorylated form of NF-κB p105 at serine 932 and shows minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Its versatility and reliability make it an essential tool for studies investigating the role of NF-κB signaling in various physiological and pathological conditions, including inflammation, cancer, and immune-related diseases.

This gene encodes a 105 kD protein which can undergo cotranslational processing by the 26S proteasome to produce a 50 kD protein. The 105 kD protein is a Rel protein-specific transcription inhibitor and the 50 kD protein is a DNA binding subunit of the NF-kappa-B (NFKB) protein complex. NFKB is a transcription regulator that is activated by various intra- and extra-cellular stimuli such as cytokines, oxidant-free radicals, ultraviolet irradiation, and bacterial or viral products. Activated NFKB translocates into the nucleus and stimulates the expression of genes involved in a wide variety of biological functions. Inappropriate activation of NFKB has been associated with a number of inflammatory diseases while persistent inhibition of NFKB leads to inappropriate immune cell development or delayed cell growth. NFKB is a critical regulator of the immediate-early response to viral infection. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, at least one of which is proteolytically processed.
