The Phospho-Met Y1234/Y1235 Monoclonal Antibody is a powerful tool for researchers studying the MET receptor tyrosine kinase pathway. This antibody, produced using state-of-the-art technology, specifically targets the phosphorylated forms of MET at tyrosine residues 1234 and 1235. The MET receptor is known to play a key role in cell growth, survival, and migration, as well as in the development of cancer and other diseases. By targeting these specific phosphorylation sites, researchers can study the activation and signaling of MET in various cell types and conditions.Validation studies have shown that this antibody is highly specific and sensitive, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.
Its ability to detect the phosphorylated forms of MET makes it an indispensable tool for studies in cancer biology, cell signaling, and drug development.By using the Phospho-Met Y1234/Y1235 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of MET in cellular processes and disease progression, ultimately advancing our understanding of this important signaling pathway.

A synthetic phosphorylated peptide around Y1234 & Y1235 of human Met (NP_000236.2).
This gene encodes a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase family of proteins and the product of the proto-oncogene MET. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate alpha and beta subunits that are linked via disulfide bonds to form the mature receptor. Further processing of the beta subunit results in the formation of the M10 peptide, which has been shown to reduce lung fibrosis. Binding of its ligand, hepatocyte growth factor, induces dimerization and activation of the receptor, which plays a role in cellular survival, embryogenesis, and cellular migration and invasion. Mutations in this gene are associated with papillary renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and various head and neck cancers. Amplification and overexpression of this gene are also associated with multiple human cancers.
