The JNK1/2/3 Polyclonal Antibody is specifically designed for research involving the c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNKs), a family of enzymes that play a key role in various cellular processes, including inflammation, apoptosis, and stress response. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. The JNK family consists of three isoforms - JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3 - which are involved in signaling pathways that regulate gene expression, cell proliferation, and cell death.
This antibody binds to all three isoforms, allowing for the detection and analysis of JNK activity in various cell types.Given the importance of JNK signaling in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions, understanding the role of JNK1/2/3 is essential for developing targeted therapies. This antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and exploring the potential of JNK inhibition as a therapeutic strategy.

JNK belongs to MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. JNK is activated by various cell stimuli, and targets specific transcription factors, and thus mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to cell stimuli. The activation of this kinase by tumor-necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is found to be required for TNF-alpha induced apoptosis. This kinase is also involved in UV radiation induced apoptosis, which is thought to be related to cytochrom c-mediated cell death pathway. Studies of the mouse counterpart of this gene suggested that this kinase play a key role in T cell proliferation, apoptosis and differentiation.JNK is expressed as ten different isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing. The predominant forms are JNK1,JNK2,and JNK3
