The MAP3K7 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12022) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MAP3K7 protein, an essential component of signaling pathways involved in various cellular processes, including inflammation and immune response. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.MAP3K7, also known as TAK1, is a key regulator of MAP kinase signaling pathways and plays a critical role in mediating cellular responses to stress, cytokines, and antigens. Its involvement in multiple signaling cascades makes it an attractive target for studies in immunology, cancer research, and inflammation.
By using the MAP3K7 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the presence of MAP3K7 in different cell types, uncovering its role in various physiological and pathological processes. This antibody is a valuable tool for gaining insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying immune regulation and inflammation, paving the way for the development of targeted therapies for diseases related to dysregulated MAP3K7 signaling.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase mediates the signaling transduction induced by TGF beta and morphogenetic protein (BMP), and controls a variety of cell functions including transcription regulation and apoptosis. In response to IL-1, this protein forms a kinase complex including TRAF6, MAP3K7P1/TAB1 and MAP3K7P2/TAB2; this complex is required for the activation of nuclear factor kappa B. This kinase can also activate MAPK8/JNK, MAP2K4/MKK4, and thus plays a role in the cell response to environmental stresses. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
