The Phospho-LCP2 (Y145) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0816) is specifically designed for research involving phosphorylated LCP2, a key protein involved in T cell activation and signaling pathways. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the phosphorylated form of LCP2 at tyrosine 145, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of signaling events in T cells, making it an essential tool for studies in immunology and autoimmune diseases.LCP2, also known as lymphocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase, is crucial for T cell receptor signaling and activation. Phosphorylation of LCP2 at tyrosine 145 is a critical event in the T cell activation cascade, leading to the recruitment of signaling molecules and downstream effector functions.
Understanding the regulation of LCP2 phosphorylation is essential for unraveling the complexities of T cell signaling and immune responses in health and disease. The Phospho-LCP2 (Y145) Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool for studying the intricate signaling pathways involved in T cell activation and immune responses. By targeting the phosphorylated form of LCP2 at a specific tyrosine residue, this antibody enables the investigation of key signaling events that govern T cell function, making it a valuable asset in the study of immune-related diseases and therapeutic interventions.

This gene encodes an adapter protein that acts as a substrate of the T cell antigen receptor (TCR)-activated protein tyrosine kinase pathway. The encoded protein associates with growth factor receptor bound protein 2, and is thought to play a role TCR-mediated intracellular signal transduction. A similar protein in mouse plays a role in normal T-cell development and activation. Mice lacking this gene show subcutaneous and intraperitoneal fetal hemorrhaging, dysfunctional platelets and impaired viability.
