The Phospho-LAT (Y171) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0809) is designed for research involving the phosphorylation of the linker for activation of T cells (LAT) at tyrosine 171. LAT is a key adapter protein involved in T cell receptor signaling pathways, and phosphorylation at Y171 plays a critical role in signal transduction and activation of downstream signaling cascades. The antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for detecting phosphorylated LAT at Y171 in human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.
Its high sensitivity and specificity make it ideal for studying the role of LAT phosphorylation in T cell activation, immune responses, and diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.Understanding the phosphorylation status of LAT at Y171 is essential for unraveling the mechanisms of T cell signaling and immune regulation. This antibody provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating the role of LAT phosphorylation in various biological processes and potential therapeutic targets for immune-related diseases.

The protein encoded by this gene is phosphorylated by ZAP-70/Syk protein tyrosine kinases following activation of the T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) signal transduction pathway. This transmembrane protein localizes to lipid rafts and acts as a docking site for SH2 domain-containing proteins. Upon phosphorylation, this protein recruits multiple adaptor proteins and downstream signaling molecules into multimolecular signaling complexes located near the site of TCR engagement. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
