The Phospho-HSPB1 (S78) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0236) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the phosphorylation of Heat Shock Protein Beta-1 (HSPB1) at Serine 78. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed to detect and analyze the phosphorylation status of HSPB1 in human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications.HSPB1, also known as Heat Shock Protein 27 (HSP27), is a key player in cellular stress response and has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
Phosphorylation of HSPB1 at Serine 78 is known to regulate its function and cellular localization, making it a crucial site for understanding the role of HSPB1 in disease progression.By using the Phospho-HSPB1 (S78) Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the phosphorylation status of HSPB1 and its impact on cellular processes. This antibody is a valuable tool for studying signaling pathways, cellular stress responses, and potential therapeutic targets related to HSPB1 phosphorylation.
This gene encodes a member of the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family of proteins. In response to environmental stress, the encoded protein translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus and functions as a molecular chaperone that promotes the correct folding of other proteins. This protein plays an important role in the differentiation of a wide variety of cell types. Expression of this gene is correlated with poor clinical outcome in multiple human cancers, and the encoded protein may promote cancer cell proliferation and metastasis, while protecting cancer cells from apoptosis. Mutations in this gene have been identified in human patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and distal hereditary motor neuropathy.
