The Phospho-Histone H4 (S1) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0901) is a powerful tool for researchers studying epigenetics and chromatin modifications. This antibody specifically targets Histone H4, a key protein involved in packaging DNA into chromatin, and detects phosphorylation at Serine 1. Histone H4 phosphorylation at Serine 1 is known to play a role in gene expression regulation, cell cycle progression, and DNA damage response. By using this antibody in Western blot applications, researchers can gain valuable insights into the dynamic regulation of chromatin structure and function.
This high-quality antibody is raised in rabbits and has been rigorously validated for use in human samples. Its ability to specifically bind to phosphorylated Histone H4 at Serine 1 makes it an ideal tool for studies in epigenetics, cancer research, and developmental biology. Unlock the potential of your research with the Phospho-Histone H4 (S1) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0901).

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H4 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6.
