The Phospho-EIF4EBP1 (T37/T46) Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying EIF4EBP1, a key protein involved in cell growth and proliferation regulation. This antibody, produced through monoclonal antibody technology, specifically targets the phosphorylated forms of EIF4EBP1 at threonine 37 and threonine 46 residues. It is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications, allowing for precise detection and quantification of phosphorylated EIF4EBP1 in various cell types. This antibody is an essential tool for researchers interested in investigating the role of EIF4EBP1 in cell signaling pathways, particularly in cancer research and translational medicine.
The phosphorylation of EIF4EBP1 at T37 and T46 residues is known to play a crucial role in the regulation of protein synthesis and cell proliferation. Dysregulation of EIF4EBP1 phosphorylation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. By using this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic strategies to target phosphorylated EIF4EBP1 in clinical settings.

A synthetic phosphorylated peptide around T37&T46 of human EIF4EBP1.
This gene encodes one member of a family of translation repressor proteins. The protein directly interacts with eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E), which is a limiting component of the multisubunit complex that recruits 40S ribosomal subunits to the 5' end of mRNAs. Interaction of this protein with eIF4E inhibits complex assembly and represses translation. This protein is phosphorylated in response to various signals including UV irradiation and insulin signaling, resulting in its dissociation from eIF4E and activation of mRNA translation.
