The DAPK2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8199) is a valuable tool for researchers studying DAPK2, a protein kinase implicated in apoptosis and cell survival pathways. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the DAPK2 protein, the antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze DAPK2 expression in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology, cancer research, and apoptosis regulation.
DAPK2, also known as Death-associated protein kinase 2, plays a crucial role in cell death signaling and is involved in processes such as autophagy, tumor suppression, and immune response regulation. Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune conditions. By studying the function of DAPK2, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify therapeutic targets for intervention.
Product Name:
DAPK2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB8199
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human DAPK2 (NP_055141.2).
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This protein contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain with significant similarity to that of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), a positive regulator of programmed cell death. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce cell apoptosis. It uses multiple polyadenylation sites.
