The Phospho-Crk p38 (Y221) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CABP1150) is a valuable tool for researchers studying signal transduction pathways involved in cellular response to stress and inflammation. This antibody specifically targets the phosphorylated form of Crk p38 at the Y221 site, a key regulator in cell signaling cascades.Crk p38 is a critical adaptor protein that plays a crucial role in mediating cellular responses to extracellular stimuli, such as growth factors, cytokines, and oxidative stress. Phosphorylation of Crk p38 at the Y221 site is particularly important for its activation and downstream signaling functions. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting phosphorylated Crk p38 (Y221) in human samples.
It has been validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling researchers to study the activation status of Crk p38 in various cell types and conditions.Understanding the role of phosphorylated Crk p38 in signaling pathways is essential for deciphering its involvement in diseases like cancer, inflammation, and autoimmune disorders. By utilizing this antibody, researchers can unravel the complex mechanisms governing cellular responses to stress and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for the treatment of these conditions.

This gene encodes a member of an adapter protein family that binds to several tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. The product of this gene has several SH2 and SH3 domains (src-homology domains) and is involved in several signaling pathways, recruiting cytoplasmic proteins in the vicinity of tyrosine kinase through SH2-phosphotyrosine interaction. The N-terminal SH2 domain of this protein functions as a positive regulator of transformation whereas the C-terminal SH3 domain functions as a negative regulator of transformation. Two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms with distinct biological activity have been described.
