The CDC25A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1173) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CDC25A, a key regulator of cell cycle progression and proliferation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications.CDC25A is known for its crucial role in controlling cell division by dephosphorylating cyclin-dependent kinases, promoting cell cycle progression. Dysregulation of CDC25A has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention.
By facilitating the detection and analysis of CDC25A protein levels in different cell types, this antibody is essential for understanding the mechanisms underlying cell cycle control and identifying potential therapeutic strategies for diseases characterized by aberrant cell proliferation. Researchers in the fields of oncology, cell biology, and drug discovery will benefit greatly from the use of the CDC25A Polyclonal Antibody in their studies.

CDC25A is a member of the CDC25 family of phosphatases. CDC25A is required for progression from G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle. It activates the cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2 by removing two phosphate groups. CDC25A is specifically degraded in response to DNA damage, which prevents cells with chromosomal abnormalities from progressing through cell division. CDC25A is an oncogene, although its exact role in oncogenesis has not been demonstrated. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
