The Phospho-CBL (Y774) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0794) offered by Assay Genie is a valuable tool for researchers studying CBL, an important signaling protein involved in cell growth, differentiation, and immune response. This antibody is raised in rabbits and has high reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.CBL is a key player in various cellular pathways, including regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling and ubiquitination. Phosphorylation of CBL at tyrosine 774 is known to regulate its activity, making this antibody essential for studying the function of CBL in different cell types and conditions.
With its ability to specifically detect phosphorylated CBL at tyrosine 774, this antibody is a valuable tool for researchers interested in understanding the role of CBL in cancer, immune disorders, and other diseases where dysregulation of cellular signaling pathways is observed. By enabling precise detection and analysis of phospho-CBL, this antibody helps advance research towards developing targeted therapies for these conditions.

This gene is a proto-oncogene that encodes a RING finger E3 ubiquitin ligase. The encoded protein is one of the enzymes required for targeting substrates for degradation by the proteasome. This protein mediates the transfer of ubiquitin from ubiquitin conjugating enzymes (E2) to specific substrates. This protein also contains an N-terminal phosphotyrosine binding domain that allows it to interact with numerous tyrosine-phosphorylated substrates and target them for proteasome degradation. As such it functions as a negative regulator of many signal transduction pathways. This gene has been found to be mutated or translocated in many cancers including acute myeloid leukaemia, and expansion of CGG repeats in the 5' UTR has been associated with Jacobsen syndrome. Mutations in this gene are also the cause of Noonan syndrome-like disorder.
