The Phospho-BRD4 (T249) Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of BRD4 in cellular signaling pathways. BRD4 is a key player in regulating gene expression and cell growth, and phosphorylation at threonine 249 is known to be important for its function. This antibody, raised in rabbits, specifically recognizes phosphorylated BRD4 at T249 in human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the phosphorylated form of BRD4, researchers can gain insight into the regulation of gene expression, cell proliferation, and other critical cellular processes.
This antibody enables the detection and analysis of phosphorylated BRD4 in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in fields such as cancer research and epigenetics. Understanding the role of phosphorylated BRD4 at T249 can provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
Product Name:
Phospho-BRD4-T249 Polyclonal Antibody

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic phosphorylated peptide around T249 of human BRD4 (NP_490597.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is homologous to the murine protein MCAP, which associates with chromosomes during mitosis, and to the human RING3 protein, a serine/threonine kinase. Each of these proteins contains two bromodomains, a conserved sequence motif which may be involved in chromatin targeting. This gene has been implicated as the chromosome 19 target of translocation t(15;19)(q13;p13.1), which defines an upper respiratory tract carcinoma in young people. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
