Description
Phospho-BCAR1-Y410 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABP1058)
The Phospho-BCAR1 (Y410) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP1058) is a valuable tool for researchers studying BCAR1, a protein involved in signal transduction pathways related to cell proliferation and migration. This antibody, raised in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It specifically binds to the phosphorylated Y410 residue of BCAR1, allowing for the detection and analysis of this important protein in various cell types.BCAR1 is known to play a crucial role in cell signaling processes that contribute to cancer progression and metastasis.
Phosphorylation at the Y410 site has been linked to increased oncogenic potential, making it a key target for understanding the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis. By studying the phosphorylation state of BCAR1, researchers can gain insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment and development of targeted therapies. Overall, the Phospho-BCAR1 (Y410) Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for investigating the role of BCAR1 in cancer biology and may provide valuable information for developing novel treatment strategies in the field of oncology.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Crk-associated substrate (CAS) family of scaffold proteins, characterized by the presence of multiple protein-protein interaction domains and many serine and tyrosine phosphorylation sites. The encoded protein contains a Src-homology 3 (SH3) domain, a proline-rich domain, a substrate domain which contains 15 repeat of the YxxP consensus phosphorylation motif for Src family kinases, a serine-rich domain, and a bipartite Src-binding domain, which can bind both SH2 and SH3 domains. This adaptor protein functions in multiple cellular pathways, including in cell motility, apoptosis and cell cycle control. Dysregulation of this gene can have a wide range of effects, affecting different pathways, including cardiac development, vascular smooth muscle cells, liver and kidney function, endothelial migration, and cancer.
