The Phospho-B-Raf (T401) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CABP1041) is a critical tool for researchers studying the B-Raf protein and its phosphorylation at Threonine 401. This antibody, specifically raised in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it a valuable tool for Western blot applications.B-Raf is a key player in the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway, which is involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Phosphorylation at Threonine 401 is a crucial regulatory event that modulates B-Raf activity and downstream signaling. The CABP1041 antibody enables researchers to specifically detect and analyze the phosphorylation status of B-Raf in various cell types, providing insights into its role in cancer, development, and other biological processes.
The ability to study the phosphorylation of B-Raf at T401 with high specificity and sensitivity makes this antibody an essential component in research focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying disease processes and identifying potential therapeutic targets. By utilizing this antibody, researchers can advance our knowledge of B-Raf signaling and its implications in various cellular pathways, paving the way for the development of novel targeted therapies for cancer and other diseases.

This gene encodes a protein belonging to the RAF family of serine/threonine protein kinases. This protein plays a role in regulating the MAP kinase/ERK signaling pathway, which affects cell division, differentiation, and secretion. Mutations in this gene, most commonly the V600E mutation, are the most frequently identified cancer-causing mutations in melanoma, and have been identified in various other cancers as well, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, hairy cell leukemia and adenocarcinoma of lung. Mutations in this gene are also associated with cardiofaciocutaneous, Noonan, and Costello syndromes, which exhibit overlapping phenotypes. A pseudogene of this gene has been identified on the X chromosome.
