The ARRB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0190) is an essential tool for researchers studying ARRB1, a protein involved in cellular signaling pathways and regulation of G protein-coupled receptors. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the ARRB1 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze ARRB1 expression in various cell types, making it a valuable asset for investigations in cell signaling, pharmacology, and drug development.ARRB1, also known as beta-arrestin 1, plays a crucial role in mediating receptor desensitization and internalization, ultimately influencing cellular responses to various stimuli.
Understanding the functions and interactions of ARRB1 is key to unraveling its involvement in pathways related to inflammation, neurotransmission, and metabolism. The ARRB1 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool to further explore the role of ARRB1 in health and disease, offering insights that could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting ARRB1-associated pathways.

Members of arrestin/beta-arrestin protein family are thought to participate in agonist-mediated desensitization of G-protein-coupled receptors and cause specific dampening of cellular responses to stimuli such as hormones, neurotransmitters, or sensory signals. Arrestin beta 1 is a cytosolic protein and acts as a cofactor in the beta-adrenergic receptor kinase (BARK) mediated desensitization of beta-adrenergic receptors. Besides the central nervous system, it is expressed at high levels in peripheral blood leukocytes, and thus the BARK/beta-arrestin system is believed to play a major role in regulating receptor-mediated immune functions. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms of arrestin beta 1 have been described.
