The Phospho-AP2M1 (T156) Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0823) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the phosphorylation of AP2M1 at threonine 156. AP2M1 is a subunit of the AP-2 adaptor protein complex, which plays a key role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Phosphorylation of AP2M1 at T156 has been linked to the regulation of endocytic processes and membrane trafficking. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for detecting the phosphorylated form of AP2M1 in human samples. It has been validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling researchers to study the phosphorylation status of AP2M1 in various cell types and tissues.
The Phospho-AP2M1 (T156) Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying endocytosis and membrane trafficking, with potential applications in cell biology, signal transduction, and disease research. By studying the phosphorylation of AP2M1 at T156, researchers can gain insights into the regulation of endocytic pathways and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets for diseases related to dysregulated membrane trafficking.

A synthetic phosphorylated peptide around T156 of human AP2M1 (NP_001020376.1).
This gene encodes a subunit of the heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex 2 (AP2), which belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunits family. The encoded protein is required for the activity of a vacuolar ATPase, which is responsible for proton pumping occurring in the acidification of endosomes and lysosomes. The encoded protein may also play an important role in regulating the intracellular trafficking and function of CTLA-4 protein. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
