The PGAM2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7917) is a valuable tool for researchers studying PGAM2, a key enzyme involved in glycolysis and energy production in cells. This antibody is raised in rabbits and has high reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the PGAM2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis of PGAM2 levels in various cell types.PGAM2 is essential for the conversion of 3-phosphoglycerate to 2-phosphoglycerate in the glycolytic pathway, making it a crucial enzyme in cellular energy metabolism. Dysregulation of PGAM2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it an important target for investigation in research settings.
By understanding the role of PGAM2 in these disease processes, researchers can potentially identify novel therapeutic approaches for intervention.Overall, the PGAM2 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for studying the function and regulation of PGAM2 in cellular metabolism and disease pathways. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an invaluable asset for studies in biochemistry, oncology, and metabolic research.

Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM) catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA) to 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA) in the glycolytic pathway. The PGAM is a dimeric enzyme containing, in different tissues, different proportions of a slow-migrating muscle (MM) isozyme, a fast-migrating brain (BB) isozyme, and a hybrid form (MB). This gene encodes muscle-specific PGAM subunit. Mutations in this gene cause muscle phosphoglycerate mutase eficiency, also known as glycogen storage disease X.
