The PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (G28-5) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for research involving CD40, a critical cell surface molecule with diverse functions in immune regulation. This antibody, optimized for use in flow cytometry applications, is specifically designed for detecting and analyzing CD40 expression in human samples.CD40, a key player in the immune system, is involved in cell signaling and activation processes that impact immune responses and inflammation. By targeting CD40 with the G28-5 antibody, researchers can explore its role in immune cell interactions, antibody production, and antigen presentation.
This antibody's high specificity and sensitivity ensure reliable results in studies related to immunology, vaccine development, and autoimmune diseases. The PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (G28-5) from AssayGenie is a valuable resource for scientists seeking to unravel the complexities of the immune system and develop targeted therapies for various health conditions. Whether investigating immune cell behavior or evaluating potential therapeutic targets, this antibody provides the precision and accuracy necessary for cutting-edge research in immunology and beyond.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD40 is a 48 kD type I glycoprotein also known as BP50. It is a member of the TNFR superfamily primarily expressed on B cells, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and at low levels on plasma cells. CD40 has been reported to be involved in B cell differentiation, costimulation, isotype class-switching, and protection of B cells from apoptosis. Additionally, CD40 is important for T cell-B cell interactions. The ligand of CD40 is CD154 (CD40 ligand).
