The PERCP Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (3A8) available at www.assaygenie.com is a premier tool for researchers investigating the CD40 cell surface protein in human samples. This monoclonal antibody is specifically designed to target CD40, a key regulator of immune responses and a crucial player in the activation of various immune cells. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the PERCP Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (3A8) is ideal for use in flow cytometry and other immunological techniques to detect and analyze CD40 expression in different cell types. By allowing researchers to precisely track CD40 levels and distribution, this antibody facilitates a deeper understanding of immune signaling pathways and their role in disease processes.CD40 is involved in a wide range of immune functions, including antigen presentation, antibody production, and inflammatory responses.
Dysregulation of CD40 signaling has been implicated in various diseases, such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. Therefore, the PERCP Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (3A8) is a valuable tool for investigating the role of CD40 in these pathologies and identifying potential therapeutic targets for intervention.Researchers in immunology, oncology, and autoimmune disease studies will benefit from the precision and reliability of the PERCP Anti-Human CD40 Antibody (3A8) in their experimental work. Trust this antibody to provide accurate and reproducible results, advancing your research efforts in understanding the intricate mechanisms of immune regulation and disease pathogenesis.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD40 is a 48 kD type I glycoprotein also known as BP50. It is a member of the TNFR superfamily primarily expressed on B cells, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and at low levels on plasma cells. CD40 has been reported to be involved in B cell differentiation, costimulation, isotype class-switching, and protection of B cells from apoptosis. Additionally, CD40 is important for T cell-B cell interactions. The ligand of CD40 is CD154 (CD40 ligand). The 5C3 antibody has been reported to promote B cell proliferation in the presence of anti-IgM, IL-4 or PMA, partially blocking CD40 binding to CD40L, and B cells rescue from apoptosis.
