The PE GennieFluor 594 Anti-Mouse/Human CD11b Antibody (M1/70) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the CD11b protein, a key cell surface marker involved in immune cell function. This antibody, specifically designed for use with mouse and human samples, is highly specific and ideal for flow cytometry applications. By targeting the CD11b protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, providing crucial insights into immune responses and inflammatory processes.CD11b, also known as integrin alpha M, is a well-known marker of myeloid cells such as monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. Its role in mediating adhesion and migration of immune cells makes it a pivotal player in the immune system's response to infection, inflammation, and tissue repair.
Researchers studying immunology, inflammation, and infectious diseases will benefit from the accurate identification and quantification of CD11b-expressing cells facilitated by this antibody.By using the PE GennieFluor 594 Anti-Mouse/Human CD11b Antibody (M1/70), scientists can gain deeper insights into the role of CD11b in immune cell function and its implications for health and disease. This antibody's high specificity, sensitivity, and compatibility with flow cytometry make it a valuable asset for research projects seeking to understand the intricate mechanisms of immune cell activation and regulation.

Background:
CD11b is a 170 kD glycoprotein also known as αM integrin, Mac-1 α subunit, Mol, CR3, and Ly-40. CD11b is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b non-covalently associates with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form Mac-1. Mac-1 plays an important role in cell-cell interaction by binding its ligands ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, and fibrinogen.
