The PE-GenieFluor 594 Anti-Human CD25 Antibody (BC96) offered by Assay Genie is a powerful tool for research involving the CD25 antigen, a key cell surface marker associated with regulatory T cells. This monoclonal antibody is specifically designed to target human CD25 and is validated for use in flow cytometry applications, allowing for precise detection and analysis of CD25-expressing cells in various biological samples.CD25, also known as interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, is a crucial component in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the development and function of regulatory T cells. Its expression is indicative of immune activation and tolerance mechanisms, making it a vital marker in studies related to immunology, autoimmunity, and transplant biology.
The BC96 antibody enables researchers to explore the role of CD25 in these contexts with high specificity and sensitivity, providing valuable insights into immune regulation and therapeutic strategies targeting CD25-expressing cells.Whether investigating immune tolerance, T cell activation, or immune-related diseases, the PE-GenieFluor 594 Anti-Human CD25 Antibody (BC96) from Assay Genie offers reliable performance and accurate results, making it an essential tool for researchers looking to advance their understanding of CD25 biology and its implications in human health and disease.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD25 is a 55 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as the low affinity IL-2 receptor α chain or Tac. It is expressed on progenitor lymphocytes, activated T and B cells, and activated monocytes/macrophages. CD25 is also expressed on a subset of non-stimulated CD4+ T cells termed T regulatory cells. CD25 associates with the IL-2 receptor β (CD122) and common γ chains (CD132) to form the high affinity IL-2R complex.
