The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (GK1.5) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CD4 protein, a key marker of T-cells involved in immune response regulation. This antibody, designed for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications, specifically targets the mouse CD4 protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in various experimental settings.CD4, a glycoprotein found on the surface of T-helper cells, plays a pivotal role in coordinating immune responses and modulating the activity of other immune cells. By targeting CD4 with the PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (GK1.5), researchers can gain insights into T-cell function, differentiation, and activation status.
This antibody's high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential tool for immunology studies, particularly those focusing on immune cell subpopulations and their interactions in disease settings.Whether investigating immune system dynamics in infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, or cancer immunology, the PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody (GK1.5) provides researchers with a reliable reagent for precise identification and characterization of CD4-expressing T-cells. With its validated performance and broad applicability in mouse models, this antibody is a valuable asset for advancing our understanding of immune responses and developing targeted therapies for various immunological conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD4 is a 55 kD protein also known as L3T4 or T4. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, primarily expressed on most thymocytes, a subset of T cells, and weakly on macrophages and dendritic cells. It acts as a coreceptor with the TCR during T cell activation and thymic differentiation by binding MHC class II and associating with the protein tyrosin kinase, lck.
