The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD33 Antibody (6C5) available at www.assaygenie.com/pe-cyanine7-anti-human-cd33-antibody-6c5/ is a cutting-edge tool for researchers investigating CD33, a cell surface glycoprotein with implications in immune responses and hematopoietic cell functions. This antibody, engineered for high specificity and sensitivity, is optimized for use in flow cytometry applications, providing precise identification and analysis of CD33-expressing cells in human samples.CD33 is a key marker on myeloid cells and is associated with various hematological disorders, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML). By targeting CD33, researchers can better understand the role of this glycoprotein in disease pathogenesis and explore potential therapeutic interventions.
The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD33 Antibody (6C5) facilitates the identification and characterization of CD33-positive cells in diverse experimental settings, making it a valuable asset for studies in immunology, oncology, and hematopoietic research.Utilizing this antibody, scientists can delve into the complex interactions involving CD33, deciphering its role in immune regulation, cell differentiation, and disease progression. By unraveling the mechanisms governed by CD33, researchers can pave the way for innovative diagnostics and treatment strategies tailored to combat hematological malignancies and other CD33-related conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD33 is a 67 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as Siglec-3, gp67, and p67. It is a sialoadhesion immunoglobulin superfamily member expressed on myeloid progenitors, monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and mast cells. CD33 is absent on normal platelets, lymphocytes, erythrocytes and hematopoietic stem cells. CD33 functions as a sialic acid-dependent cell adhesion molecule with carbohydrate/lectin binding activity.
