The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD200 Antibody (OX-104) offered by Assay Genie is a vital tool for researchers studying the CD200 cell surface molecule, which plays a key role in immune regulation. This antibody, specifically designed for use with human samples, is highly reactive and validated for a range of applications, including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. By targeting the CD200 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD200 expression in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in immunology, oncology, and autoimmune diseases.CD200, also known as OX-2, is an important immune modulatory molecule that acts as a negative regulator of immune cell activation and inflammation.
Its involvement in immune tolerance and the prevention of excessive immune responses makes it a promising target for research into conditions such as cancer, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune diseases. Understanding the role of CD200 can provide valuable insights for developing therapeutic strategies that aim to modulate immune responses and restore immune balance in disease states.Overall, the PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD200 Antibody (OX-104) from Assay Genie offers researchers a high-quality tool to explore the function and expression of CD200, shedding light on its potential implications in various diseases and paving the way for innovative immunotherapeutic approaches.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD200, also known as OX2, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF). It is a monomorphic cell surface glycoprotein that is expressed on thymocytes, neurons, endothelium, follicular dendritic cells in all lymphoid organs, a subset of CD34+ progenitor cells, and at low levels on some smooth muscle and B lymphocytes. It is not expressed on NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or platelets. CD200 costimulates T cell proliferation. It may regulate myeloid cell activity in a variety of tissues. The interaction between CD200 (OX2) and CD200 receptor (OX2R) system is of importance in the control of macrophage and granulocyte activation, which may contribute to pathways that suppress and limit macrophage induced inflammatory damage in tissue.
