Description
PE/Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD13 Antibody [B-F10]
The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD13 Antibody (B-F10) offered by Assay Genie is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD13, a cell surface protein involved in various cellular processes. This antibody, optimized for use in flow cytometry applications, provides precise and reliable detection of CD13 in human samples.CD13, also known as aminopeptidase N, is a multifunctional enzyme implicated in processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and angiogenesis. Its expression has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and inflammatory disorders, making it a potential therapeutic target. Researchers investigating the role of CD13 in these conditions will benefit from the specificity and sensitivity of the PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD13 Antibody (B-F10).
With its high reactivity and specificity for human CD13, this antibody enables accurate analysis of CD13 expression in different cell types, facilitating detailed studies in immunology, oncology, and beyond. Incorporating this antibody into research protocols can lead to valuable insights into the functions and dysregulation of CD13 in disease states, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools.

CD13 is a 150-170 kD type II transmembrane glycoprotein also known as aminopeptidase N, APN, and gp150. This zinc metallopeptidase is expressed as a homodimer on granulocytes, myeloid progenitors, endothelial cells, epithelial cells and subset of granular lymphoid cells. It is not expressed on platelets or erythrocytes. CD13 is thought to be involved in the metabolism of many regulatory peptides and functions in antigen processing and the cleavage of chemokines such as MIP-1. CD13 serves as the cellular receptor for Coronavirus.
