The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD117 Antibody (104D2) offered by AssayGenie is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying the CD117 antigen, also known as c-Kit. This antibody is specifically designed for use in flow cytometry applications and is compatible with human samples. By binding to the CD117 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD117-expressing cells in various research settings.CD117, a receptor tyrosine kinase, is widely recognized for its role in cell signaling and differentiation, particularly in hematopoietic stem cells and various cancer types.
Its overexpression or mutations have been associated with the development and progression of certain malignancies, making it a promising target for cancer research and therapy development. With its exceptional specificity and sensitivity, the PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Human CD117 Antibody (104D2) from AssayGenie offers researchers a reliable tool to investigate the biology of CD117 and its implications in cancer and stem cell research. Unlock the potential of CD117 research with this high-quality antibody from AssayGenie.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD117 is a 145 kD protein tyrosine kinase also known as c-Kit. It is a receptor for stem cell factor or c-Kit ligand. CD117 is expressed on pluripotent hematopoietic progenitor cells (approximately 1-4% bone marrow cells), mast cells, and acute myeloid leukemia cells (AML). CD117 binding of c-Kit ligand induces phosphorylation of CD117 and stimulates proliferation and survival of primitive hematopoietic stem cells as well as erythroid-committed and granulo-monocytic committed cells.
