The PE-Cyanine5 Anti-Mouse CD335 Antibody (29A1.4) is a vital tool for researchers studying immune responses in mice. The antibody specifically targets CD335, also known as NKp46, a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and involved in immune cell recognition and activation.Produced for high reactivity and specificity, this antibody is raised in mouse and is validated for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications. By binding to the CD335 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze NK cells in various tissues and experimental conditions, allowing for detailed insights into immune responses in different disease models and treatments.
CD335 is a key player in the innate immune system, mediating NK cell cytotoxicity and cytokine production in response to viral infections, tumors, and other pathological challenges. Understanding how CD335 functions in immune surveillance and response is crucial for developing novel immunotherapies and antiviral strategies. Researchers can leverage the PE-Cyanine5 Anti-Mouse CD335 Antibody (29A1.4) to advance their investigations in immunology, virology, and cancer research, ultimately contributing to the development of new therapeutic approaches.

Background:
CD335, also known as NKp46, is a single-pass type I membrane protein of 46 kD. It belongs to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family and contains two Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domains. It's expression is restricted to NK cells and a subset of NKT cells; it's not expressed in CD1d-restricted NKT cells. CD335 is a receptor for viral hemagglutinins and heparan sulfate proteoglycans and is involved in NK cell activation.
