The PE-Cyanine5 Anti-Human CD14 Antibody (M5E2) available at assaygenie.com is a powerful tool for immunological research involving the CD14 protein. CD14 is a key component in the recognition of bacterial cell wall components, triggering immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, conjugated with PE-Cyanine5, allows for precise detection and analysis of CD14 expression in human samples.Developed specifically for accurate detection of CD14, the PE-Cyanine5 Anti-Human CD14 Antibody (M5E2) is ideal for flow cytometry applications, providing researchers with a reliable method for studying the role of CD14 in immune responses.
By targeting CD14, this antibody enables investigations into inflammation, infectious diseases, and immune system regulation. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the PE-Cyanine5 Anti-Human CD14 Antibody (M5E2) offers researchers a valuable tool for advancing their understanding of immune responses, infection, and inflammatory processes. Explore the role of CD14 in various cellular contexts with this reliable and validated antibody from assaygenie.com.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD14 is a 53-55 kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked membrane glycoprotein also known as LPS receptor. CD14 is expressed at high levels on monocytes and macrophages, and at lower levels on granulocytes. Some dendritic cell populations such as interfollicular dendritic cells, reticular dendritic cells, and Langerhans cells have also been reported to express CD14. As a high-affinity receptor for LPS, CD14 is involved in the clearance of gram-negative pathogens, and in the upregulation of adhesion molecules and expression of cytokines in monocytes and neutrophils.
