The PE-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Mouse CD45.2 Antibody (104-2) from Assay Genie is a powerful tool for research involving mouse CD45.2, a crucial cell surface marker commonly used for identifying leukocytes in immunology studies. This antibody, specifically designed for use in flow cytometry applications, is ideal for detecting and analyzing CD45.2 expression in mouse immune cells with high specificity and sensitivity.CD45.2, also known as leukocyte common antigen, is a key protein involved in the regulation of immune cell signaling and activation. Its presence on various immune cell subsets makes it a valuable marker for studying immune cell populations in both normal and disease states. The PE-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Mouse CD45.
2 Antibody (104-2) enables researchers to accurately profile and characterize CD45.2-expressing cells, providing valuable insights into immune function and responses in experimental models. With its high reactivity and validated performance in flow cytometry, this antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating immune cell populations, including T cells, B cells, and myeloid cells in mouse models. By facilitating precise detection and quantification of CD45.2 expression, it supports a wide range of immunological studies focused on understanding immune responses, inflammatory processes, and immune cell dynamics in research areas such as immunotherapy, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD45.2 is an alloantigen of CD45, expressed by Ly5.2 bearing mouse strains (e.g., A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129). CD45, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, is a 180-240 kD glycoprotein expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. There are multiple isoforms in the mouse that play key roles in TCR and BCR signal transduction. These isoforms are very specific to the activation and maturation states of the cell as well as specific cell type. The primary ligands for CD45 are galectin-1, CD2, CD3, CD4, TCR, CD22, and Thy-1.
