The PE-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Human CD24 Antibody (ML5) from Assay Genie provides a valuable tool for researchers studying CD24, a cell surface marker associated with various cellular processes. This antibody, specifically designed for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications, is highly selective for human CD24 and has been validated for consistent and reliable performance.CD24 is a multifaceted molecule involved in cell adhesion, differentiation, and signaling pathways, with implications in cancer progression, stem cell biology, and immune responses. By targeting CD24 with the PE-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Human CD24 Antibody (ML5), researchers can accurately identify and analyze CD24 expression on different cell types, facilitating further investigations into its role in various physiological and pathological conditions.
With its high specificity and sensitivity, the PE-Cyanine5.5 Anti-Human CD24 Antibody (ML5) offers researchers a valuable tool to advance their studies in immunology, oncology, and stem cell research. By enabling precise detection and quantification of CD24-expressing cells, this antibody helps uncover new insights into the functions and therapeutic potential of CD24 in disease settings.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD24 is a 35-45 kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein also known as heat stable antigen (HSA), BA-1, Ly-52, and nectadrin. It is expressed on the surface of B cells (but not plasma cells), granulocytes, follicular dendritic cells, and epithelial cells. CD24 may play a role in the regulation of B-cell proliferation and maturation. CD24 crosslinking induces a Ca2+ flux in mature B cells. CD24 has been shown to interact with CD62P (P-selectin).
