The Mouse Anti-Mouse CD105 Antibody (MJ7/18) is an essential tool for researchers studying CD105, a key cell surface marker involved in angiogenesis and endothelial cell function. This monoclonal antibody, derived from hybridoma cells, is highly specific to mouse CD105 and is suitable for a wide range of experimental applications.CD105, also known as endoglin, plays a crucial role in vascular development and is a marker of endothelial cells undergoing proliferation and differentiation. By targeting CD105 with this antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the expression of this protein in various mouse tissues and cell types.
This makes it an invaluable asset for investigations into angiogenesis, cardiovascular biology, and vascular disorders. With its high specificity and reliability, the Mouse Anti-Mouse CD105 Antibody (MJ7/18) provides researchers with a powerful tool for elucidating the functions of CD105 in physiological and pathological conditions. Whether studying vascular development, tumor angiogenesis, or endothelial cell biology, this antibody will facilitate accurate and insightful analyses, leading to a deeper understanding of CD105 biology and its implications in health and disease.

Background:
CD105 is a 90 kD homodimeric type I integral membrane glycoprotein, also known as endoglin. It is expressed on endothelial cells (especially on angiogenic endothelial cells) and upregulated by hypoxia, activated monocytes, macrophages, bone marrow stromal cells, and some cytotrophoblasts. CD105 is a receptor for TGF-β1, TGF-β3 and modulates TGF-β signaling by interacting with TGF-β receptors I and/or II. CD105 also binds other growth factors such as actvin A, BMP-2, and BMP-7. CD105 has been show to be a useful marker for identifying proliferating endothelium involved in tumor angiogenesis and can be used for tumor imaging and prognosis, and has therapeutic potential for some solid tumors and other angiogenic diseases.
