The PE-anti-Human/Mouse IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) offered by Assaygenie (Product Code: AGEL3280) is a powerful tool for researchers studying interleukin-5 (IL-5) in both human and mouse samples. This antibody, conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE), is meticulously designed for accurate detection and analysis of IL-5, a crucial cytokine involved in immune responses, particularly in the context of allergies and asthma. The TRFK5 antibody demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity, ensuring reliable results in flow cytometry and other immunological assays. By targeting IL-5, researchers can delve into the mechanisms of allergic responses, inflammatory processes, and immune system regulation in both human and murine models.
The ability to precisely detect IL-5 expression in various cell types opens up new opportunities for investigations in immunology, allergy research, and drug development targeting IL-5-related pathways. With its validated performance and specificity for IL-5, the PE-anti-Human/Mouse IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) is a valuable asset for scientists striving to unravel the complexities of immune responses and allergic conditions. Unlock the potential of IL-5 research with this cutting-edge antibody from Assaygenie.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
IL-5 is a homodimeric, disulphide-linked protein produced by T-cells. Monomeric human IL-5 is a 126 amino acid protein with a reported molecular weight of 26 kD for the homodimeric protein. Mouse and human IL-5 are approximately 70% identical. IL-5 has been shown to promote the growth of immature hematopoietic BFU-E progenitors, stimulate the activation and differentiation of eosinophils, and promote the generation of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Mouse IL-5 induces the differentiation and proliferation of pre-activated B-cells and stimulates the production and secretion of IgM and IgA by B-cells stimulated with bacterial endotoxin. The TRFK5 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-5.
