Job Description
Assay Genie is seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Content Writer with a background in immunology to join our team. This is a remote, work-from-home position designed for individuals currently pursuing a PhD in immunology. As a Content Writer, you will play a critical role in generating informative and engaging content as well as visuals for the Assay Genie website. Your contributions will help us better serve our scientific community by providing valuable information and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Create well-researched, informative, and engaging content related to immunology, research techniques (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot), and related topics.
- Generate visuals, such as images, diagrams, and infographics, to complement written content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and scientific teams to develop content strategies and meet weekly content targets.
- Ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with Assay Genie's brand and mission.
- Stay current with the latest developments in immunology and related research areas.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a PhD in immunology or a closely related field.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in a life science field.
- Strong understanding of immunology and related research techniques (flow cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
- Proficiency in creating visuals using graphic design tools or software.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent research skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization is a plus.
