The PARP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21365) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1), a critical enzyme involved in DNA repair and genomic stability. This antibody, developed by Assay Genie, is produced in rabbits and is highly specific for human samples, allowing for accurate detection and analysis in various research applications.PARP1 is known for its role in DNA damage response and is a key player in processes such as base excision repair and homologous recombination. Dysregulation of PARP1 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions.
The PARP1 Polyclonal Antibody enables researchers to explore the expression and function of this enzyme in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into its implications in disease pathology and potential treatment strategies. With its high reactivity and specificity, the PARP1 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for studies in molecular biology, oncology, and pharmacology. By enabling precise detection and analysis of PARP1 protein levels, this antibody facilitates a deeper understanding of its biological functions and opens up new avenues for research and therapeutic development.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 200-300 of human PARP1 (NP_001609.2).
This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes.
