The PA2G4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5376) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the PA2G4 protein, a regulator of cell growth and cell cycle progression. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for human samples, making it suitable for use in various applications such as Western blotting.PA2G4, also known as EBP1, plays a crucial role in cell proliferation and differentiation, making it a target of interest in cancer research and developmental biology. By binding to PA2G4, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis of the protein in different cell types, facilitating investigations into its functions and interactions.
Understanding the role of PA2G4 in cellular processes can provide insights into its involvement in diseases such as cancer and neurological disorders, offering potential therapeutic opportunities for targeting PA2G4 in these conditions. Researchers can leverage the capabilities of the PA2G4 Polyclonal Antibody to advance their studies and contribute to the knowledge of PA2G4 biology.

This gene encodes an RNA-binding protein that is involved in growth regulation. This protein is present in pre-ribosomal ribonucleoprotein complexes and may be involved in ribosome assembly and the regulation of intermediate and late steps of rRNA processing. This protein can interact with the cytoplasmic domain of the ErbB3 receptor and may contribute to transducing growth regulatory signals. This protein is also a transcriptional co-repressor of androgen receptor-regulated genes and other cell cycle regulatory genes through its interactions with histone deacetylases. This protein has been implicated in growth inhibition and the induction of differentiation of human cancer cells. Six pseudogenes, located on chromosomes 3, 6, 9, 18, 20 and X, have been identified.
