The OVOL2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17973) is a valuable tool for researchers studying OVOL2, a transcription factor involved in development and differentiation processes. This antibody is produced in rabbits and exhibits high reactivity with human samples, making it an ideal choice for studies in developmental biology and cancer research. OVOL2 is known to play a key role in controlling cell fate decisions, particularly in epithelial tissues. Its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
By using the OVOL2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze OVOL2 expression in different cell types, allowing for a better understanding of its function and potential implications in disease pathology. By unraveling the intricate mechanisms by which OVOL2 influences cellular processes, researchers can pave the way for the development of novel treatments and interventions for a range of diseases. The OVOL2 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for unlocking the mysteries surrounding OVOL2 and its impact on health and disease.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 24-98 of human OVOL2 (NP_067043.2).
This gene encodes a member of the evolutionarily conserved ovo-like protein family. Mammalian members of this family contain a single zinc finger domain composed of a tetrad of C2H2 zinc fingers with variable N- and C-terminal extensions that contain intrinsically disordered domains. Members of this family are involved in epithelial development and differentiation. Knockout of this gene in mouse results in early embryonic lethality with phenotypes that include neurectoderm expansion, impaired vascularization, and heart anomalies. In humans, allelic variants of this gene have been associated with posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy.
