The NTF3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12476) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of NTF3, a neurotrophic factor important for neuronal survival and growth. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed to target NTF3 in human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications. By binding to the NTF3 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze NTF3 levels in various cell types, providing valuable insights into neurobiology and neurodegenerative diseases.NTF3, also known as neurotrophin-3, is a key player in the development and maintenance of the nervous system, promoting the growth and survival of neurons.
Dysregulation of NTF3 has been linked to neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. By studying the function of NTF3, researchers can uncover potential therapeutic targets for treating these debilitating conditions and improving patient outcomes.Overall, the NTF3 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of NTF3 in neurobiology and neurological diseases, leading to a better understanding of neuronal survival and potential therapeutic interventions.
Product Name:
NTF3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB12476
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 19-257 of human NTF3 (NP_002518.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the neurotrophin family, that controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. This protein is closely related to both nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It may be involved in the maintenance of the adult nervous system, and may affect development of neurons in the embryo when it is expressed in human placenta. NTF3-deficient mice generated by gene targeting display severe movement defects of the limbs. The mature peptide of this protein is identical in all mammals examined including human, pig, rat and mouse.
