The Neuropilin-2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2581) is a crucial tool for researchers studying Neuropilin-2, a transmembrane receptor involved in various physiological processes, including angiogenesis, axon guidance, and immune regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications.Neuropilin-2 is known to interact with multiple ligands, such as semaphorins and vascular endothelial growth factors, and plays a vital role in mediating cell signaling pathways that influence cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. By targeting Neuropilin-2, researchers can investigate its function in normal physiology and disease states, particularly in cancer, neurological disorders, and immune-related conditions.
Given its versatile applications in studying diverse cellular processes, the Neuropilin-2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2581) is a valuable tool for immunology, oncology, and neuroscience research, enabling the detection and analysis of Neuropilin-2 expression in various cell types and tissues. Its ability to provide insights into the role of Neuropilin-2 in health and disease makes it a valuable asset for advancing scientific knowledge and potentially identifying therapeutic targets for a range of medical conditions.

This gene encodes a member of the neuropilin family of receptor proteins. The encoded transmembrane protein binds to SEMA3C protein {sema domain, immunoglobulin domain (Ig), short basic domain, secreted, (semaphorin) 3C} and SEMA3F protein {sema domain, immunoglobulin domain (Ig), short basic domain, secreted, (semaphorin) 3F}, and interacts with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This protein may play a role in cardiovascular development, axon guidance, and tumorigenesis. This protein has also been determined to act as a co-receptor for SARS-CoV-2 (which causes COVID-19) to infect host cells.
